Carlos Giraldo Announces His Candidacy for Philadelphia City Council
Hello, friends. I’d like to share the exciting news that I have officially registered as a candidate for City Council At-Large. I hope I can count on your support
From Colombia to Philadelphia
Giraldo arrived in the United States at the age of 17. Born in Colombia and raised for part of his life in Medellín and Aranzazu, he recalls that his connection to business began within his own family. His father owned a coffee-related business in Aranzazu, as well as a cattle farm, and purchased coffee from local growers to sell to processing facilities.
Moving to Philadelphia meant essentially starting from scratch. Without an established network and in a city unlike any he had lived in before, he had to build both personal and professional relationships from the ground up.
